In a slow game, the Harvard Freshman soccer team was defeated by Worcester Academy, 2 to 1, on the field behind the Business School, Saturday afternoon.
Harvard generally outplayed the schoolboy team, but was unable to capitalize its opportunities although the ball was in Worcester's territory for the greater part of the game Worcester, on the other hand, took advantage of the few favorable openings that it received, and was able to tally twice.
The summary: Score--Worcester Academy 2, Harvard 1934 I. Goale--Mooney, Games, Gummere. Referee--Magurn. Time--four 20-minute periods.
