The operating expenses of Harvard University for the 12 months ending June 30, 1930, were $12,248,176.80, as appears in the report of Henry L. Shattuck, Treasurer of Harvard University, to the Board of Overseers, which was made public yesterday.
These expenses which exceeded these of the preceding 12 months by $600,000 were paid from the following sources:
