TEAM SPENDS REST DAY AT MYOPIA AS LAST DRIVE BEGINS

With plans and possibilities for the Yale game still much in the air, Horween acted under the belief that a day of rest away from the Harvard atmosphere would be the best way to start the final drive for Saturday's game, and took the entire squad with the coaches to spend yesterday afternoon and evening at the Myopia Hunt Club in Hamilton. Here the players talked things over with the various coaches, and after a dinner and entertainment returned to Cambridge at 9 o'clock.

The only outstanding news to give color to a rather drab day was the announcement that Devens, brilliant back who broke a bone in his leg in the Dartmouth game, will be on the field in togs this afternoon to practice with the team, and that he may possibly be available for relief work for short periods during the Yale contest.

The hope that this wily back, who was counted on to lead the Crimson backs this fall, will after all be able to perform with the team against Yale may very likely add the rejuvenation that has been so noticeably needed during the last few games. Even if Devens is only able to play a short time, his presence will doubtless be a great encouragement, and perhaps the lateral, restored to the hands of Devens and Mays, its former masters, may not prove the mediocre offensive play that it has been against the major opponents this season.
