To the Editor of the CRIMSON:

I wish to commend your editorial of last Saturday in favor of a revision of the Parietal regulations.

It has always surprised me that Harvard men, supposedly so resentful of authority, have submitted tamely to being treated like a pack of naughty boarding school boys.

Under the new conditions incidental to the House Plan the last excuse for the maintenance of such restrictions disappears. Their further retention on any grounds other than pure mid-Victorian conservatism, must imply a belief on the part of the authorities which is an insult to the character of the student body.
