Finals of the University fall tennis tournament have been postponed indefinitely because of wet courts. The two teams which will eventually play off the title that was won last year by R. S. Murphy '33 and E. B. Ward '30, are A. W. Patterson '32 and G. W. Green '32 and two law school students R. S. Bowditch II, and J. B. Richardson II.
Last year's finals went to a five set match which was considerably hindered by wind and cold. H. L. Coggeshall SL and M. T. Hill '32 were the runners-up and although they won two out of the first three sets, Murphy and Ward produced a rally that took the last two sets and match. Coggeshall, who ranked in America's first twenty last year, entered the tournament this year but eventually defaulted.
