The University soccer team avenged a previous defeat by a combined graduate team yesterday by taking the measure of the older team, 2 to 1, on the field behind the Business School.
The complete squad, both University and Junior University, participated in the game for Harvard, and the graduates' only goal was scored on a penalty kick in the fourth period by D. G. Baker 2G, coach of the seconds. In the opening period, W. D. Vogel ocC scored from a scrimmage in front of the graduate goal. Harvard tallied again in the second quarter when D. B. Dorman '32 headed the ball into the net.
This afternoon Coach Baker's Junior University team will meet M. I. T. on the Engineers' field. The captain of the team will be elected before the start of the game.
