John Marshall Lockwood '34, of Brooklyn, New York, was elected captain of the Freshman football team yesterday. He is 17 years old, is 5 feet 11 1-2 inches tall, weighs 180 pounds and has been playing at center. He prepared for college at the Gunnery School.

While at school Lockwood played on the basketball and baseball teams in 1928 and 1929 as well as on the football team during his last three years.

Elections for the University Second team captain will be held on Thursday.
