. . . May I commend you for the shining exception to the welter of hypocrisy and deliberate falsification.

Statements by politicians and others that the drunks were hoodlums who attached themselves to the Legionnaires are too ridiculous for words. Everyone who knows anything is aware that this and most conventions are primarily the excuse for a grand spree away from the restraining influence of one's family and neighbors. F. T.
