In a hard game, the combined Harvard Class team held the Second University eleven to a tie score of 7 to 7 yesterday afternoon at Soldiers Field.
The Class team played an excellent game and, in spite of a hard attack by the Seconds, managed to hold and put up a good defense. The first period was evenly played, but in the second, the Class team scored when H. A. Ham '33 went over for a touchdown. Instead of drop-kicking for the extra point, P. A. Ketchum '31 passed to Ham, who crossed the goal line.
In the third quarter, the second University team mustered up a leisurely attack. A. J. Lupien '32 received a pass from C. C. Pell '33 and dashed about 15 yards for a goal. Reginald Fincke Jr. '32 kicked for the extra point which was declared fair.
