STATISTICS ON SOPHOMORE APPLICATIONS ANNOUNCED

Statistics on the Sophomore applications for the Houses were announced yesterday by Mason Hammond '25, head tutor of Lowell House, and E. S. Mason, head tutor of Dunster House.

In all there were 430 applications for both houses, out of which 163 will be selected, the announcement of those accepted to be made on February 3. Fifty-five of those who applied indicated no preference as to choice of Houses. In addition there will be 25 men picked from the Engineering School to live in both of the new units.
