Trials for the Freshman debating squad were held yesterday afternoon in Holden Chapel, the following men being retained: J. B. Gilbert '33, W. A. McGivney '33, A. G. Malkan '33, and E. W. Fuller, Jr. '33.

The four men retained will form a temporary executive committee acting for the Freshman Debating Council. Celian Ufford '19, assistant professor of English, will have general supervision of the Freshman debating while P. C. Reardon '32 and R. B.
