The opening game of the University polo season resulted in a 10 to 5 1-2 defeat when the 101st Field Artillery galloped through the Harvard trio on Saturday night in the Commonwealth Armory.

Gerry '31 was again absent from the lineup, having been out of town during the weekend. The University team was made up of the same players who competed in the first two contests of the season for the seconds, and they played on Saturday as the University team because of the absence or ineligibility of other players.
