Contest Will Terminate Long and Exacting Season

The finals of the intramural indoor baseball season will be held this evening at 6.30 o'clock in the Freshman Athletic Building. Alpha Chi Sigma, winner in the Alpha League, will meet Kappa Sigma, Beta League champions, in a nine-inning game, with I. R. Buchin 3L umpiring. The victors will receive gold medals.

The contest tonight marks the completion of the first intramural sport of the season. The indoor nines started their schedules three weeks before the Christmas holidays, but the league victors have just been determined. In the Alpha group there was a double tie for the top position, while in the Beta league three teams claimed the championship: the Kappa Sigmas won the play-off on the pitching of J. D. Vail Jr. '32, their star hurler, who is expected to be on the mound tonight if he recovers from a slight illness.
