TEXAS TREKS TO STADIUM FOR GRIDIRON GAME IN 1931

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

A team from the Southwest invades the Stadium for the first time in Harvard football history when the University of Texas football team meets the Crimson-shirted players in the fourth game of the 1931 season. Negotiations have been under way for more than a year between W. J. Bingham '16, Director of Athletics at Harvard and H. J. Ettlinger, who holds the same position at the Texas University, and arrangements were completed Monday night.

The Athletic Committee also approved a game with Dartmouth on November 7, 1931, with Army on October 17 at West Point, and Yale in the Stadium on November 21. The Texas game is on October 24.
