Harvard Students To Vote on Divestment From Israel in Inaugural HUA Election Survey
The final get-together of the Freshman Class before the academic year begins will take place at the Phillips Brooks House this evening at 7:30 o'clock The Brooks House reception is an annual affair for the first year men and will close the three day reception planned for the Class of 1933 by the College.
Practically all non-athletic, extracurricular activities in which the Freshmen will soon be engaged will be represented at the meeting by their respective leaders. The Presidents of the CRIMSON, Lampoon, and Advocate Boards, the Presidents of the Glee Club and the Instrumental Clubs, and the President of the Phillips Brooks House Association will address the gathering. James Roosevelt '30, president of the Association, will preside at the meeting and introduce the speakers.
Presidents Bernard Barnes '30 of the CRIMSON. A. G. Churchill '30 of the Lampoon. Theodore Hall Jr. '30 of the Advocate will represent the periodicals, while F. H. Gade '31 and J. R. Carter '30 will speak on behalf of the instrumental and Glee Clubs respectively. Thus the Freshman Class is offered the opportunity of estimating the relative value of the various non-academic activities offered it in its ensuing four years in College.
