The Harvard University Band will begin its activities for the fall on Monday afternoon with entrance trials for new men, according to an announcement made last night by F. L. Anderson, 1G, who has been chosen director for this year. All members of the University who play band instruments are eligible and are to report at Sanders Theatre on Monday from 2 to 4 o'clock in the afternoon or from 7 to 9 o'clock in the evening. The Band will loan instruments to those who do not have their own.

The feature of this season will be the trip to Ann Arbor to play at the Harvard-Michigan game on November 9. The H. A. A. has assured the manager of the Band that it will take care of all expenses for the trip, which is the longest the Crimson musicians have yet taken.
