The Harvard tennis team won its seventh straight victory last Saturday from Amherst on the Divinity Field Courts, white-washing the invaders by the score of 9 to 0.

Captain B. H. Whitbeck '29 defeated Hayes, star Amherst No. 1 man, in straight sets. In the doubles Arthur Ingraham Jr. '30 and E. B. Ward '30 finished a long battle to defeat Hayes and Bowditch, 6-3, 7-9, 8-6.

Singles--Whitbeck defeated Hayes (A), 6-2, 6-2; Ingraham defeated Bowditch (A), 6-3, 7-5; Ward defeated Richardson (A), 6-2, 6-2; W. L. Breese '31 defeated Hicks (A), 6-3, 6-8, 6-3; J. L. Wage '30 defeated Notopulos (A), 4-6, 7-5, 6-2; R. L. Tower '31 defeated Clark (A), 6-4, 6-1.

Doubles--Ingraham and Ward defeated Hayes and Bowditch (A), 6-3, 7-9, 8-6; Whitbeck and F. K. Trask '30 defeated Richardson and, Hicks (A), 6-2, 6-3; Tower and W. L. Breese '31 defeated Niceson and Wyckoff (A), 6-3, 4-6, 6-1.
