Man Who Managed Clients for High-End Cambridge Brothel Network Pleads Guilty
In a tightly played game, won in the ninth inning by a drive for three bases by A. S. Lupien '32 which was stretched into a home run by an error on the part of the schoolboy shortstop, the Freshman baseball team defeated Exeter by a 2 to 1 score Saturday on Soldiers Field.
The game was a pitchers' battle throughout with Charles Devens '32 the Freshman hurler allowing only three singles and with the 1932 batters knocking out four safe hits.
Devens' pitching and Lupien's hitting featured the game. The latter was the only man on either team to get more than one single. In four trips to the plate he hit a triple and a double and succeeded in getting on base the other times by a fielder's choice and an error.
The score by innings: The lineups: Harvard Mays, 2b.; Sprague c.f.; Lupien, l.f.; Wood. s.s; Dos Beches r.f.; Delano. r.f.; Vogel. 3b; Finche, lb; Sheldon c.; Devens. p. Exeter Spain s.s.; Reed. 2b; Kimball, lb; Coombs, p.; Rich, 3b.; Curtin, l.f.; Pixtoy, r.f.; Launch, c.f.; Fremd, c.
