MARKSMEN OUTSHOOT RIFLE TEAM FROM TRINITY COLLEGE

Wing Scores 96 Out of Possible 100 in Contest at Arlington

With W. M. Wing '31 acting captain of the University rifle team, scoring a 96 out of a possible 100, the sharpshooters yesterday afternoon defeated the Trinity College marksmen on the range at Arlington. The score of the match was 453 for Harvard and 414 for Trinity.

Wing was the high scorer of the day with his unusually high total, and also succeeded in making 16 consecutive bulls eyes. The team was the same as that which finished fourth in the intercollegiate tournament at Annapolis last Saturday except for M. M. Johnson '31 who joined in yesterday's competition.

The members of the winning team are as follows: W. M. Wing '31, W. S. Carroll '29, S. D. Clark '31, W. P. Wadsworth '29, M. M. Johnson '31, and Francis Donaldson, Jr. '31.
