A list of 43 men who are to serve on the Student Advisory Committee to assist the class of 1933 was announced yesterday by W. W. Ryan '30, chairman of the committee. More than half of this number, 29 in all, are Freshmen this year.
The names of the committee are as follows: C. F. Adams '32, J. B. Ames '32, J. S. Ames Jr. '32, C. F. Bound '32, F. O. Canfield '32, R. G. Carpenter '31, C. M. Churchill '30, A. H. Crimmins '32, D. C. Crockett '32, Charles Devens '32, Eustace Dearborn '32, David Dudley '32, C. S. Eaton '32, R. M. Faxon '32, A. G. B. Fairchild '32, Reginald Fincke Jr. '32, A. C. Forbes '32, Desmond Fitzgerald '32.
W. W. Foshay '32, C. E. Galston '30, W. O. Gay '32, R. C. Glenn '32, H. M. Hartnett '30, G. C. Homans '32, C. F. Hovey '32, Barrett Hoyt '30, O. D. Johnson '31, J. H. Kennard '32, G. K. Martin '32, J. B. Miller '32, H. P. Minis '30, H. L. McClung Jr. '32, W. M. Nichols '32, A. W. Patterson '32, H. G. Pope '31, R. P. Post '32, J. W. Potter '30, R. H. Sharp '30, W. D. Vogel '30, C. M. Underhill '30, F. F. Wilder '32, R. O. Williams '30.
This large number of names almost doubles this year's committee of 25 while the number of Freshmen included is another important change.
A revival of the policy of having advisors eat regularly in the Freshman Halls will also be encouraged as it forms a strong link between the Freshman class and the committee. Although it has not been definitely decided as yet, it is believed that the incoming Freshmen especially from the large preparatory schools will be assigned to advisors who are graduates of the same schools.
