With Charles Devens '32 Freshman hurling are, pitching in top form, the 1932 nine gathered an early lead against the Brown Freshmen last Saturday, to gain a 4 to 0 verdict. Devens not only held the visitors to four hits and struck out 17 men, but he gathered four hits out of four times at bat. Reginald Fincke '31, with two safe blows, was the only other Crimson batter to get more than one safety.
