The opening races for the first 150-pound Freshman and the second heavy Freshman crews with the corresponding Tech eights which were postponed from Saturday to yesterday, were again deferred to this afternoon on account of rough water conditions on the Basin.
Provided conditions are suitable this afternoon the two races will be held at 4.30 o'clock and 3 o'clock. The first 1932 eight will not meet their M. I. T. rivals until Saturday, when they run off their first race of the season shortly before the jayvee and University crews match up against the engineers.
The 1932 lightweights will be stroked by I. R. White, while C. F. Adams J; will set the pace for the second heavy crew. Both races will be over the Henley course of one mile and 5-16.
