DEAN OF LAW SCHOOL CHOSEN FOR ADMINISTRATIVE POST

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Dean Roscoe Pound of the Law School was reported Saturday to have been selected by President Hoover for an important place on the administration's law enforcement program. Dean Pound, who has been in Washington attending a meeting of the Bar Institute, had a half-hour conference with the President Saturday.

President Hoover is understood to have been eager for some time to obtain the services of the dean. He is an outstanding legal expert, is not identified with either side of the prohibition controversy, and is prominent in the direction of the Harvard Crime Survey in Suffolk Country.

The President has indicated that the commission he has in mind will conduct the most comprehensive investigation of its kind and will include the law's delays in the scope of its survey.
