"FLORIDA" WINS FINAL GAME FROM "MICHIGAN"

Coming from behind in the last half of play yesterday, "Florida" overcame a "Michigan" lead of four points by scoring two touchdowns, thus winning the game and the entire three game series from their Spring rivals.

The game, which marked the close of the three weeks Spring training period, was watched by Knute Rockne, famous coach of Notre Dame elevens, who is in Boston on a speaking tour.

During the entire first half the game was to a great extent listless and uninteresting. The "Michigan" players showed promise of gaining their first victory when they scored two safeties giving them a lead of four points which looked good in view of the fact that neither team was showing much offensive power. Sumner Putnam '31 had been downed behind his own line to give the first safety while a blocked kick by F. S. Davis '30 was directly responsible for the other.

In the second half however Florida came to life and the best football of the entire Spring practice was displayed. J. F. Schereschewsky '32, intercepted a "Michigan" pass in the middle of the third quarter and raced 35 yards for a touchdown. On the try for the extra point R. F. Gleason '32 and R. B. Greeley '31 completed a forward to put their side in the lead 7 to 4. To turn the game into a complete rout F. J. Gilligan '32 following a determined "Florida" drive down-field late in the fourth period, plunged over for another six points. "Florida" passed again for the extra point this time by the Putnam the Greeley route.

The game was the last Harvard football practice for this year until September 15 when Coach Arnold Horween '20, will start his fall practice for the 1929 season.
