LACROSSE TEAM DOWNS SPRINGFIELD COLLEGE

HARVARD FRESHMEN DEFEAT SECONDS 8 TO 2

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Displaying an excellent brand of lacrosse the Harvard team triumphed over Springfield College by an 8 to 4 score Saturday afternoon on the Business School field. Coach Madison Sayles sent 24 men into the fray in the course of the 60 minutes playing time.

R. C. Glenn '30, playing third attack for the Crimson, displayed the most outstanding ability of the day. Scoring one of Harvard's points, his accurate passing was largely instrumental in the caging of the remainder. Searles, who held down the third attack position for the visitors, was the individual star of the Springfield twelve.

Freshmen Defeat Seconds

Hanging up their second successive victory, the Crimson Freshman lacrosse team defeated the Springfield Seconds 8 to 2 in a game staged on the Business School field Saturday afternoon. The visitors were handicapped by lack of practice, but physically were in good condition.

Both of Springfield's scores were made from positions immediately outside the crease. N. N. Cochrane '32 played a brilliant game at second attack and accounted for five of the Crimson's scores, while Captain S. W. Keck '32 was responsible for the other three.
