In their first social event as a class since the receptions in September, the Freshmen will gather in the Living Room of the Union tonight at 7.30 o'clock for their annual Smoker.
W.B. Wood '32, president of the class, will give a brief talk, introducing the two chief speakers of the evening, President Lowell and Professor C.N. Greenough '98, both of whom will discuss the House Plan in their addresses.
A program will be rendered by the vocal and banjo divisions of the 1932 Instrumental Clubs, and there will also be specialty numbers by two Freshmen. Roy Lamson's orchestra will play in the intermissions between the speeches and, after a distribution of souvenirs, the evening will close with motion pictures.
