With the engagement of two orchestras and the announcement of the list of patronesses, the work of the Freshman Jubilee Committee has progressed in preparation for the annual affair, which will be held in the Smith Halls Common Room on May 17.
The music will be furnished by two organizations, Roy, Lamson's Harvardians and Bert Lowe's Hotel Statler orchestra, the latter assisted by Billy Lossez. These played at the celebration last year, and their success assured their re-engagement this spring.
Mrs. N. P. Hallowell, a member of Mrs. Lowell's committee in charge, will be the head patroness of the evening, and will be assisted by Mrs. J. S. Ames. The complete list of patronesses who have been invited is as follows:
