FINAL PROPERTY PURCHASED FOR BIOLOGICAL INSTITUTE

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

With the purchase of a small piece of property, the land on which the new $6,000,000. Biological Institute will be erected is entirely in the possession of the University. Surveys have already been made, and the plans are being drawn by the architects. It is hoped that the construction will be under way before the fall.

According to tentative arrangements, the new building will be in the general shape of the letter "L" extending back from Divinity Avenue and then parallel to the street. It will contain no lecture halls, as those in the Museum are ample. Instead, it will be devoted to laboratories, research rooms, and administrative offices.
