Sophocles' "Electra" to be Played

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Members of the University who are interested in the Greek tragedy will be given an opportunity to see the "Electra" of Sophocles in performances primarily for college students at Eliot Hall on Monday and Tuesday evenings at 8.15 o'clock.

The play is produced by the Footlight Club of Jamaica Plain, the oldest theatrical organization in the United States. Only once before in its 53 years of existence has it opened its doors to the public. The production next week has been directed by B. T. Churchill, who was one of the auditors for the old 47 Workshop at Harvard under Professor Baker.
