At a dinner, held recently at the Harvard Club of Boston, R. B. Bell '30 and I. T. Williams '30, were reelected as president and vice president respectively, of the University Flying Club. Other officers elected were R. S. Osborne '30, treasurer, and J. F. Philipp '31, secretary. At the same time, a group of new directors were chosen including, H. W. Fuller '30, J. H. Smith '31 and H. H. Timken '31. These elections will take effect immediately.
The annual report of the president to the club stated, that at the end of next week, the club's Travel-air plane will be taken to the airport in Boston and given a test flight and that full instruction in the art of landing will be given in the plane, for the first time, under the tutelage of transport pilots from the commercial companies at the field.
