At the annual convention of the I. C. 4A. in New York last Saturday, R. W. Thayer '29, manager of the Harvard track team, was elected president of the association for the coming year. At the same time R. C. Floyd '10 was chosen a member of the graduate committee handling affairs for the colleges.
Thayer's associates this year will be J. F. Maloney of Columbia, who is secretary, and C. F. Harmon of N. Y. U., treasurer. There is also a new executive committee composed of representatives from six of the institutions in the association.
Among other business settled at the meeting Saturday was the board's decision to hold the outdoor track and field championships of the I. C. 4A. on May 24 and 25 at Franklin Field, Philadelphia.
