The outdoor season for the University tennis team will officially get under way tomorrow with a meeting of all candidates at the Freshman Athletic Building at 5 o'clock.

Although outdoor practice will probably not start until after the Spring Recess, all men intending to come out for the team should attend the meeting because there will be indoor practice in the Freshman Athletic Building during the two weeks preceding vacation. The first outdoor match comes on April 20, just one week, after the close of vacation so that Coach Cowles will not have much time in which to select his first team.

J. O. Ross '29, manager of the tennis team announced yesterday that a competition for second assistant manager will begin today with a meeting of all candidates at 5 o'clock in the Freshman Athletic Building. The competition which is open to all Sophomores in good standing will last until May 20. Ross pointed out that the competition would be light with practically no work until after vacation. The winner will be assistant manager next year and manager in his Senior year. The runner up in the competition will be manager of the second team next year.
