Garber Privately Tells Faculty That Harvard Must Rethink Messaging After GOP Victory
Harvard meets a strong Pennsylvania University wrestling team this afternoon at 2 o'clock in Hemenway Gymnasium. The visitors come with a record of victories over Columbia, West Point, and Duke and a defeat at the hands of Cornell.
The Crimson's record is not so auspicious as that of its opponent. It has defeated Columbia and M. I. T. but has lost to West Point, Tufts, and Brown. The Cadet match, however, was lost by a small margin; so that there are good prospects for a close match this afternoon.
In an elimination bout held during the course of the week, H. J. Kaufman '29 defeated Dudley Davis Jr. '31. As a result he will continue to fight for the University in the 165-pound class as he did in the Brown match.
The Harvard line-up follows:
115-pound class: C. G. Chase '30.
125-pound class: J. H. Burns '29.
135-pound class: C. N. Levine '30.
145-pound class: Captain Joseph Lifrak '29.
155-pound class: W. A. Robinson '31.
165-pound class: H. J. Kaufman '29.
175-pound class: G. L. Graves '31.
Unlimited class: Nathaniel Warner '30.
