One or more scholarships in Mining Geology will be made possible beginning next year by the gift of $10,000 made in memory of Carlton Thayer Brodrick, '08, by his father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. Alfred H. Brodrick, of Newton Highlands.

The income will be used from year to year by the President and Fellows on recommendation of the Division of Geology. The award will be made to one or more students of United States and Canadian birth at Harvard University in Mining Geology, preferably for help in summer work.
