The Freshman debating team will travel to Exeter on March 23 to meet the Exeter Academy speakers, it was announced after a meeting of the Freshman Debating Council yesterday. This will be the first debate for the Freshman team this year.

The question as suggested by Harvard, is: Resolved, That this house favors the Baumes Law. It is not known yet which side of the question Harvard will defend since Exeter has the privilege of making a choice.

Trials for the debate will be held on Monday in Holden Chapel at 3 o'clock. All Freshmen in good standing are eligible to compete in the trials. Speeches should be based on either side of the question and be three minutes in length.
