The Freshman tennis season will begin this afternoon with a meeting of candidates for the team at the Freshman Gymnasium at 5 o'clock. Candidates for the position of Freshman Tennis Manager will also attend this meeting.

Beginning tomorrow there will be indoor practice period of three hours on Tuesdays and Thursdays. These periods will be devoted mainly to practicing the various strokes and developing the fundamentals of the game under the direction of Coach R. L. Cowles. Because of the lack of suitable indoor facilities, it is requested that only experienced players turn out at this time.

Indoor practice will continue until just before or immediately after the Spring Recess when it is excepted that the weather will permit using the outdoor courts. With the beginning of the outdoor practice there will be an opportunity for less experienced players to try for the team.
