With prospects of having one of the best Freshman teams for several years, the 1932 track squad will journey to Andover on Saturday where it will open its season with a meet in the indoor baseball cage at the Phillips Academy. Five running and four field events will be included in this initial meet, which will give the Freshmen their first outside competition since entering the University.
Relay Team Has Seen Action
Although several members of the Freshman squad have participated in the two Boston invitation meets this season, the competition in these games was of such high calibre that the 1932 runners were completely outclassed. The relay team, however, has performed very creditably, losing its first race to the Holy Cross Freshman by a scant margin, and finishing 10 yards ahead of the same group in the second meeting with them last Saturday.
