ATHLETIC COMMITTEE HOLDS BUSY MEETING

CHANGES AND ADDITIONS MADE IN MANY OTHERS

W. J. Bingham '16, Director of Athletics in the University, announced last night that at the last meeting of the Athletic Committee, the following appointments and elections were approved: Charles Crehore Cunningham '32, captain of the Freshman hockey team; Bruce Wallace Hislop '31, second assistant basketball manager; John Kelleher, coach of the second University baseball team.

At the same time the following schedule for the Freshman fencing team was adopted: Wednesday, February 6, High School of Commerce; Wednesday, February 13, M. I. T.; Thursday, February 14, English High School; Saturday, February 23, Brunswick High School; Wednesday, February 27, Andover; Saturday, March 2, Yale Freshman at New Haven.

Other business of the meeting included numberous changes and additions to the various athletic schedules. The following additions were approved: University basketball game with Lowell Textile School on Monday, February 11; University lacrosse game with Yale on May 30; University polo game with Danvers on February 16; Second University polo game with Yale Seconds on February 23; Second University basketball game with U. S. Naval Training Station on Thursday, February 14.

The changes in the schedules were as follows: University hockey game with University club changed from February 9 to February 6; Second University polo game with 51st Brigade changed from February 23 to February 16; University Tennis match on April 20, changed from Boston University to Oakley Country Club, and the match with M. I. T. changed from May 1 to May 8; the Freshman wrestling match with Tufts moved from February 9 to February 16, and the 1932 match with the Second University is changed from February 16 to February 9.
