As a result of the debating trials held yesterday by the University Debating Council, L. F. Hess ocC., N. M. Sachs '29, and S. G. Silverman '30 were selected by Coach Celian Ufford '19 to debate against the University of Pittsburgh. J. R. Hurd '30 was selected as an alternate.
The debate will be held in Paine Hall, Music Building next Saturday at 8.15 o'clock. The forensic artists will consider the following proposition: "Resolved, That modern advertising is more detrimental than beneficial to society." Harvard will support the negative side.
