Crew Competition Opens

The competition for the Freshman crew managership will open Monday afternoon with a meeting at the H. A. A. at 1.45 o'clock.

The competition will last approximately eight weeks and will consist of three or four hours work in the boathouses plus short evening meetings with the University managers. The winner of the competition will become manager of the 1932 crew and with the second man who will receive the post of assistant manager, will receive numerals.

The third post open is that of manager of the 150 pound crew and is rewarded by the insignia of the light Freshman eight. In addition the spring regatta committee is chosen from among the remaining manager candidates.
