NAVY HEADQUARTERS WILL INHABIT SHEPHERD HALL

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Plans calling for the erection of one of the new Houses on the site of the present quarters of the Naval Science Department, will cause the removal of the department to a new location in Shepherd Hall, Commander R. C. Grady, professor of Naval Science, announced in a statement issued yesterday afternoon.

The official statement was as follows: "We have been ordered to vacate the building that we are in and move into Shepherd Hall before July 1. This building will be torn down to make room for one of the new Houses."

Commander Grady has been examining the situation in Shepherd Hall for the last few days; if his present plans are carried out, his department will occupy the entire first floor together with some rooms in the rear of the second floor. The rest of the building, however, will not be altered, but will continue to serve as a dormitory.
