LONDON PROFESSOR TO GIVE FIRST OF LOWELL INSTITUTE LECTURES

COURSE COVERS "ECONOMICS AND SOVEREIGNTY"

At 5 o'clock this afternoon Ralph George Hawtrey, Assistant Secretary of the Treasury, Whitehall, London, and visiting lecturer at Harvard in Economics, will speak at the Lowell Institute, 491 Boylston Street on "Sovereignty and Property." This lecture is the first of six to be given on the general subject of "Economics and Sovereignty."

Tickets may be secured by applications to the Curator of the Lowell Institute, 491 Boylston Street, Boston.

The lectures will be given at 5 o'clock on Tuesdays and Fridays. The doors will open at 4.30 o'clock and will close promptly on the hour.

The titles of the subsequent lectures are as follows:

March 1--"Sovereignty and Economic Development."

March 5--"Communication and Population."

March 8--"Economic Power."

March 12--"War and Economic Motives."

March 15--"The Future."
