West Point, N. Y., February 22--Harvard's quintet, with Captain O'Connell kept on the bench by an injured leg, put up a game right against the Army tonight, but finally succumbed to a bigger and stronger team by the score of 37 to 24.

The Cadets began the contest with a furious rush which swept them into a commanding lead. Headed by the brilliant passing and shooting of Strother, who alone accounted for 14 of his team's points, the soldiers peppered the visitor's basket to gain an early margin which Harvard was not able to overcome.

Harvard staged a valiant come-back as soon as the whistle opened the second period. A clever passing attack baffled the leaders for a time, and toward the end of the game the Army's margin was somewhat reduced.

As the final period neared its close, the West Pointers resumed the attack and forged steadily ahead to the final score, 37 to 24.

The improvement in Harvard's teamwork tonight was noticeable, and is encouraging for the game with the Navy at Annapolis tomorrow evening.
