The M. I. T. freshman were unable to offer serious opposition to the 1932 fencing team who defeated them 7 to 2 last night at the Hemenway Gymnasium. Harry Beckwith '32 made a perfect performance by taking all of his three bouts. H. M. Krutter (M. I. T.) won the only two bouts for his team.
This is the second encounter for the 1932 swordsmen who have showed much improvement since the match with Commerce High.
At three o'clock this afternoon, they meet English High in the Hemenway Gymnasium.
