FOOTBALL SEASON OPENS THIS EVENING AT VARSITY CLUB

All members of the University who are interested in the 1929 football team are invited to attend an informal gathering in the Varsity Club at 7 o'clock this evening. This meeting will mark the official opening of the 1929 football season, and will be featured by short talks by J. L. Barrett '30, captain of next year's eleven, V. P. Kennard '09, a member of the football coaching staff for the past two years, and H. W. Clark '23 of the Athletic Association. Following the addresses, there will be an exhibition of several boxing and wrestling matches.
