CERCLE PRESENTS PLAYS AT FINE ARTS THEATRE

This Evening's Program Will Include "Le Coeur a Ses Raisons" and "Poil de Carrotte"

The initial performance of the Cercle Francais this year will be given tonight at 8.30 o'clock at the Fine Arts Theatre in Boston. Two plays will be offered by the organization: "Le Coeur a Ses Raisons", by Caillavet and Flers, and "Poil de Carrotte", by Renard.

The former, in which the leading role is taken by Miss. Helen Streeter, tells the story of two suitors, both of whom are in love with the same lady. The resulting complications furnish an amusing one act comedy. "Poil de Carrotte," in which Miss Kathleen Shaw plays the title role, is a domestic tale of a child who is not understood by his mother.

The casts of the two presentations include Charles Fowler, Jr. '88, W. A. C. Miller III '32, W. R. Sturges '31. Miss Pauline Shaw, Miss Lorraine Warner and W. R. Cowen, Jr '29, former president of the Cercle. He is in complete charge D. T. Field '81 is director of publicity I. F. Ferry '82 is stage manager: Miller is director: W. R. Furlong, Jr. '88 Assistant director.
