Informal Practice for Squad of Sixty Begins Under Coach Stubbe New Arrangement for Seconds.

Actual hockey practice will begin today in the Boston Garden following a week of pre season sessions which the squad has spent playing touch football in preparation for the winter season. Today Coach Joseph Stubbs '20 plans to handle a squad of some 60 candidates who will go through a very informal workout.

After the squad has seen several weeks of practice in the Garden Coach Stubbs plans to arrange a regular period for the second team which has there to fore been given no adequate coaching attention. The University squad has never used all the time available and this year it is planned to give them a definite schedule for practice. The present arrangements with the Garden management call for three full afternoons work throughout the season.
