MINOR SPORTS BEGIN NEW TYPE OF COMPETITION TODAY

Three minor sports, basketball, fencing, and wrestling will open a newly inaugurated form of competition this morning at 8.30 o'clock at the H. A. A. in which all three will be combined. This competition will be six weeks in length, each candidate spending two weeks on each of the three sports.

Upperclassmen only will be eligible, the Freshman competition having been eliminated. The winner will have his choice of the second assistant managership of any of the sports, the remaining positions to be awarded to the winning candidates according to rank.
