Edward S. Harkness, donor of $13,000,000 for the institution of the Harvard House Plan, was in Boston and Cambridge during the last two days. He came to attend a dinner given by the Tavern Club in his honor last night at the club house, 4 Boylston Place, Boston.

Among those present at the dinner were President Lowell, Professors Greenough and Coolidge, Masters of the first two units of the House Plan, Professor Merriman, and Matthew Luce '91, regent of the University.

When reached yesterday afternoon by a CRIMSON reporter. Harvard's benefactor said that he had no statement to make either about his visit to Cambridge or about the development of the House Plan.
