Nineteen Seniors were elected to office yesterday in the second and final ballot, which was featured by an unusually small vote. John Cross II, of Weston, won the permanent position of Class Secretary with a comfortable lead over the other three candidates.

The permanent positions on the Class Committee went to Guy Constant Holbrook Jr. of Clifton, Arthur Lithgow Devens Jr., of Boston, Bernard Barnos, of New Hartford, Connecticut, William Potter Lage, of Suffern, New York, Thomas Frothingham Mason, of Brooklyn, New York, and Howard Theodore Wenner, of Northhampton, Pennsylvania, all of whom held a distinct lead over the remaining nominees.

In the race for Class Day Committee, James Gordon Douglas Jr., of New York City, was first; the remaining six members of the committee finished in the following order: William Thomson Wetmore, of New York City; Josiah Warren Potter, of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; Foster Stone Davis, of Concord; New Hampshire; Vincent Lawrence Hennessy, of Brookline: Charles Beaman Lakin, of Scarsdale, New York: James Lindsay Ware, of Cambridge.

The Album Committee of five members was chosen in the order given as follows: Robert Edward Barrett Jr., of Holyoke; Edward Trumbull Batchelder, of Salem; Reginald Henry Phelps, of Southwick; Freeman Lewis, of St. Cloud, Minnesota; William McKee Dunn of Detroit, Michigan.

There were in all only 269 votes cast. Seven were thrown out, and four had anonymous names.
